NANNY McPHEE

In addition to emphasizing discipline, manners and accepting the consequences of one's actions, Nanny McPhee has five very important base lessons to teach ; each of which correspond to her various unattractive physical attributes: gray hair, two large moles, a unibrow, and a snaggle-tooth protruding over her bottom lip, all of which give her the appearance of a stereotypical witch. Nanny McPhee is as ugly as the children are naughty, so whenever a lesson is learned, one of her disfigurements vanishes. When all five lessons are learned, Nanny McPhee transforms from ugly and old to young and beautiful. According to one of the special bonus features, her weight gradually goes away, with it completely vanishing once they learn their sixth lesson.

• First lesson - To go to bed when they are told (and stop fighting) - Hair goes from gray to brown

Story of Lemony Snickets

1) Do you think Violet, Klaus and Sunny can be considered as young heroes? Elaborate.

Yes,I do think so, because they had proved that the death of their parents are not coincidents. Their parents were died because of the trick of Count Olaf. Violet has the high in intelligence, Klaus is bookworm while their younger sister has 4 teeth that can bite almost anything.

2) In the movie, Count Olaf mention that growns up never listen to kids. Do you agree with his statement.

Of course not because sometimes the older should have listen to the young kids. Even, kids look immatured, but their ideas and intelligence can exceed us. So, we need to listen to them and make a rational decision of they have been talking about.

3) If you can play one of the characters in the movie, what would you be and why?

In my opinion, I would like to be like Violet. This is because I can have the ability to manipulate anything around me as my tools. I am also genius and can do anything I wanted to. Besides, I can help other people.

4) Elaborate on 2 moral values that you learnt from this movie.

We have to use all the ability that we have in order to survive in this world, moreover, if we had lost our parents. For instance, Violet, Klaus and Sunny showed that they really use their ability to fight Count Olaf. Next, we should not be so sad even we had lost our parents. In this movie, the three siblings did not cry when they knew that their parents were died in a fire. They know that crying will not bring their parents back to live.

Destruction of Ecosystem

Haaa....There are 4 main reasons of the destruction of the ecosystem which are agricultural activities, deforestation, rapid development and the increasing in human population.

We need food in our life, so, we do not have any other choices rather than open a new land in order to increase the agricultural activities such as for paddy field, and corn field. In addition, we are also only thinking about money.

Next is the deforestation. Deforestation is the logging of the forest in order to create a new phase of urban area. However, deforestation had cause the increasing of the heat to the Earth. As there are no more trees, we are actually lack of oxygen. When the heat is increasing, this will cause the green house effect.

The government in each country will try to help and develop their country as well as their people. In that case, they will build the road and highway, airport, and many houses especially at the land that has not been touched. These rapid development is actually killing the ecosystem.

The last one is the growing of our population. As the human being increase day to day, a new place is needed to create and support  them for food, shellter and garments.

In short, all the reasons above  are the main causes of the destruction of the ecosystem. The habitat of the flora and fauna will be diminished.
   

Listening, Reading & Writing Test

Overall, I did my best in those test. Quite fun actually because during the I can improve myself to listen carefully and be more attentively.

boys vs girls

Boys and girls?? which one is better....in my opinion, both girls and boys have their pros and cons. For instance, boys make decision with their mind not with their feelings. Boys are more matured when handle things or manage things rather than girls. They physically strong but sometimes DUMB compared to the girls which mentality strong. Sometimes, these son of adam also is quite jealous which means they need attention from others. So girls, what are you waiting for, come help those guys because they are stupid (not including me)..ngeeee...hurm, how about the girls??.. i don't know...but, i think men and women are actually need each other. One of them maybe is not perfect but, being too perfect also may attract others..hehe..but, they are complete when together.

The Grave of The Fireflies

1) I think the story is interesting because it shows us the relationship between a brother and his younger sister. Plus this story consist a lot of moral values.

2) If I were the boy, Seita, I would like to sacrifice myself in order to help my younger sister, Setsuko. I will do whatever it takes to help my sister even it would risk my life. I will work hard to let her happy forever, forever and forever.

3) If I were given the chance to recreate the story, I want to have a happy ending. The story is really sad having Seita's mother, father and his little sister died because of war. There is no such thing that a story should be in sad ending. How can a young boy lost his sister after he became an orphan. He should have seeing fireflies with his little sister as the war had end.
